XanGo is fortunate to have Aaron Garrity, the man with great vision and unlimited creativity. Garrity spends a lot of his time traveling on the roads and visiting distributors. However, the intensive travel doesn’t prevent him from enjoying meeting with distributors and listening to their stories. According to Garrity, the company is planning to double its business in 2.5 years; and in the long run, XanGo wants to be the dominant player in the century. I’d like to share the following article regarding XanGo distributors donated 80,000 XanGo Meal Packs to the people suffering in poverty and malnutrition in rural El Salvador. XanGo Goodness Foundation partners with the Salvadoran Foundation for Health and Human Development, and keeps its commitment of giving back to the ones in need.

XanGo Supports the Pounds of Love Program in El Salvador

LEHI, UT – Through XanGo, LLC’s continued partnership with AmeriCares, and with the donations of XanGo distributors, a full container of XanGo Meal Packs – enough to provide approximately 80,000 meals – is reaching rural areas of El Salvador as part of the Libras de Amor, or Pounds of Love, program. Pounds of Love aims to reduce the rate of malnutrition, specifically among young children and expecting and lactating mothers, and the XanGo Meal Packs provide that much-needed sustenance to those suffering from chronic malnutrition and illness.

Distributed through a grant from the XanGo Goodness program, in partnership with global health and disaster relief organization AmeriCares, the XanGo Meal Packs are purchased by individual XanGo distributors around the globe. Since late 2007, almost 2 million meals have been donated by the company’s distributors and other well-wishing individuals.

XanGo’s founders—Joe Morton, Aaron Garrity, Gary Hollister, Gordon Morton, Kent Wood and myself—sitting around the conference table hammering out business details and making a commitment to giving back, just as soon as we turned our first profit.
